Welcome St. Xavier Alumnae Association Members to Your Web Site!

Dear St. Xavier Alumnae,

Thank you all for making the St. Xavier Alumnae Association 2015 annual Homecoming a success. Luncheon at the Quidnessett Country Club was enjoyed by nearly 200 attendants. What a wonderful display of classmates meeting to renew friendships and reminisce about the days we all shared at St. Xavier Academy. The 50th Anniversary Class of 1965 received their gold rosary beads during Mass at St. Timothy’s, becoming the latest alumnae to experience the blessing and joy of a very special reunion.

We are fortunate and give thanks to the outstanding Executive Board members who volunteer their time each year to provide such a memorable day for all of us. You too are to be congratulated for your commitment to preserve the legacy of St. Francis Xavier Academy and the value of a Catholic education through our Scholarship Fund.  With your generous donations, $20,000 has been awarded to the 20 student applicants based on their demonstrated  needs and academics.  What better way to acknowledge appreciation for our SXA education than to lighten the financial burden facing families today, struggling to provide their children with a faith based foundation to pursue their goals and dreams. Thank you.

Looking ahead, the Association will remember our deceased members at the annual memorial Mass for the Deceased at 9 a.m., on Friday, November 6, 2015, St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Avenue, Johnston, Rhode Island. All are welcome to attend. We look forward to seeing all of you once again at our next Homecoming on Sunday, October 30, 2016. Planning has begun and will include honoring  the 50th reunion Class of 1966 and recognizing all  classes ending  in 1 and 6 on their  special day.

We continue to look to you for your continued prayers and faithful support. It is all of you who make the St. Francis Xavier Alumnae Association lasting proof of the impact a Catholic education has had in our lives and in the lives of those we touch.

God Bless,

Carol Moffitt Maynard
