WELCOME
The Saint Francis Xavier Alumnae Association welcomes you to this website. Within these pages you can access historical, biographical and timely information about Saint Xavier Academy (SXA), its graduates and recent activities.

GOALS
The goals of the association are twofold: first to encourage fellowship among members and second to award scholarships to high school students attending Catholic schools.  The bond of friendship is renewed each year at the Homecoming Luncheon that recognizes members of all classes but especially the class celebrating its fifty-year reunion.  Homecoming is the event where scholarship winners are posted along with the schools they will attend.

SUPPORT AND FELLOWSHIP
Throughout the year members enjoy each other’s company at a summer lunch, the fall reunion, and a memorial Mass for deceased members followed by breakfast.  In December the board enjoys a gala Christmas party.  SXA sisters keep in touch throughout the year by phone, email and snail mail.  There is joy in our gatherings especially when a new member joins the organization.

AWARDING SCHOLARSHIPS
It is gratifying to hear back from scholarship winners.  Recently one said, "I really do not think a thank you card can fully express my gratitude.  I will be forever grateful for your assistance in helping me pursue my dreams".  Each year many students and their families receive help thanks to the generosity of Saint Xavier alumnae.

HISTORY
There is a long and rich history associated with Saint Xavier Academy and the Saint Francis Xavier Alumnae Association.  That tradition grows out of Catholic values and the ideals of the Religious Sisters of Mercy.  These two important influences are like golden threads that bind us closer to each other and support us in times of need.
We hope you will explore these pages and enjoy what you find.
